Welcome and merry meet! After a long summer and a few unexpected delays, the new and updated site for Green Spiral is online. Please feel free to browse through the menus and articles to your left and get to know us a little better. Meeting dates and times are in the Schedule of Events, and contact information for the group can be found in the Resources menu, as well as scattered throughout the site. Green Spiral is MSU's official pagan organization, and includes MSU students, professors, and members of the local community. Founded in 1996, Green Spiral exists to provide a structured, readily accessible organization for Pagans at Michigan State University and in the surrounding areas. It is open to people of any age, religion or level of experience. We are, above all else, committed to the support and celebration of free religious expression.
Green Spiral is an eclectic organization. In Paganism, this term is widely used to mean "drawing from many sources". For example, if a pagan organization or coven refers to themselves as "eclectic", then they do not derive their philosophy, rituals, or beliefs solely from one school of thought, rather, many. We welcome all paths and ask that everyone remains respectful of the differences therein when involved in group activities. The group meets regularly on-campus and occasionally organizes trips to festivals and gatherings, including an annual trip to ConVocation at the Troy Hilton.
